- Electronic Hot Gas Bypass Valve
The TGR Series can also work in free cooling mode when the return water temperature from the central cooling system (condensation side) is cold enough to satisfy the user water setpoint and it consequently allows to switch off the refrigerating compressor for energy savings.

HEAT EXCHANGERS
Compatibility
Heat exchangers can be used when the fluid to be cooled is not compatible with the chiller or dry cooler in terms of temperature, pressure, flow rate, or material compatibility. We supply plate heat exchangers (gasketed, brazed or welded) and shell and tube heat exchangers to meet your specific application requirements. The heat exchanger can be a stand-alone unit or it can be part of a pump skid as needed.

GLYCOL MAKE-UP SYSTEMS
Pressure Control
A glycol make-up system automatically maintains proper fluid pressure in a closed cooling system. The make-up system consists of a pump, non-pressurized storage tank, and all necessary controls. If the cooling system pressure falls below the user-adjustable set point, glycol is pumped from the storage tank to restore the pressure to an acceptable level.

HEAT TRANSFER FLUIDS
Handling Low Fluid Temperatures
Glycol-water mixtures should be used to protect chillers and dry coolers against freezing in applications requiring low fluid temperatures and/or in outdoor installations. Pre-mixed solutions are available in various concentrations, based on the lowest expected temperature. The type of glycol (ethylene or propylene) and concentration must be considered upfront to ensure proper performance in terms of heat transfer and fluid flow. Inhibited glycols contain additives to provide corrosion protection in fluid systems that are not non-ferrous.

DRY COOLERS
Alternate Cooling
Dry coolers use ambient air to cool process fluids, with cooling capacities to 250 tons. Multiple units can be employed to handle even greater heat loads. Configuration choices include horizontal or vertical air discharge, single or double row fans, and vertical, horizontal or V mounted coils. Units can have multiple circuits, multiple passes and can be configured to be piped in series or parallel. The rugged, weather-proof design is manufactured with corrosion-resistant galvanized steel sheet, finished with high quality polyurethane paint. Standard cooling coils consist of copper tubes and aluminum fins, which are coupled with high efficiency, low noise fans. A variety of optional fan controls can be provided, including step controls and variable speed drives in single- and three-phase voltages to match your electric power supply.

FILTERS & STRAINERS
Protecting Your Equipment
Protect your chiller and other critical cooling equipment from solid particle contamination using filters and strainers.
Thompson brand strainers feature flow ratings from 100 to 2000 GPM at a pressure drop of 1 PSI. These units include large conical strainers providing substantially more surface area than traditional strainers. Non-ferrous construction consists of a 304SS housing with 316SS screens as fine as 250 mesh (50 micron). Options include automatic timer flush valve, differential pressure alarm package, and alternate materials of construction.
Helix Series filters are an economical choice for removal of particles as small as 50 micron. Single filters are rated for 100 or 200 GPM; manifold multiple units together for higher flow rates. These units are non-ferrous with housings made of polyamide, fitted with either a depth-filtration cartridge (polypropylene) or a perforated or mesh screen (316SS).

COOLING TOWERS
Keeping Things Cool
Chase Cooling Systems proudly offers the full selection of cooling towers available from Delta Cooling Towers. For over 45 years, Delta’s primary focus has been to manufacture a virtually maintenance free line of corrosion-proof, engineered HDPE cooling towers. All products incorporate a unitary molded structure, with a high efficiency counter-flow design. Unlike metal towers, the engineered plastic cooling towers will not rust, flake, chip or need re-coating downtime. Factory assembled models range from 10-2600 tons, are simple to install, and can be molded in any color. We also offer an Anti-Microbial Cooling Tower with anti-microbial HDPE resin, which is fully compounded throughout that resists biofilm and microorganism growth. Products are made in the USA and have a standard 20-yr shell warranty, the longest in the industry.
